Addison Tweedy is currently a comedian and missionary with Every Nation Ministries.  He began the outreach to Florida State University in 1995 with a simultaneous church plant and helped launch a new outreach to Florida A&M University in the fall of 2001.

In addition to the U.S., he has helped pioneer new outreaches in Poland, Peru, South Africa, Austria, Germany, Hungary and Brazil. Tweedy performed, wrote, and co-produced his debut comic album “Out of My Mind.” He also wrote, performed and produced a live stand up comedy DVD. Before moving overseas, he served as the Southeast Regional Director for Victory Clubs of America and has spoken nationally and internationally to tens of thousands of students on high school and college campuses about the importance of developing good character.

During his presentation, he weaves humor into an inspirational message that entertains and educates students. Tweedy has been a featured guest on several radio programs to discuss his work with young people and to perform live comedy. He has also performed during concerts, rallies, conferences and major conventions across the U.S.

Tweedy attended Florida State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in business, with an emphasis in hospitality administration. He also earned a degree in practical ministry from the Wagner Leadership Institute. Tweedy served eight years in the United States Navy Reserve during which time he received the National Defense service medal, a Flag Officer Letter of Commendation and the Meritorious Service Ribbon. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee with his beautiful wife, Lisa, and their four kids; Ariston, Silas, Anastasia and Gloriana.
